Claudio Allia (Catania 1962) is an Ophthalmologist, music producer and freelance photographer, winner of prestigious international photographic competitions who currently lives and works in Sicily. Since the early eighties Claudio has focused his creative and expressive energies in the musical field as an independent composer and producer of jazz, electronic and classical music, using the analog photographic medium mainly to document his travels. Since 2005 fascinated by the advent of new digital photographic technology, Claudio has started experimenting with new creative and visual approaches in the world of photography, deepening his studies and knowledge also in the field of digital editing and ranging in his creations, from collections and purely conceptual / surreal photographic series up to social documentation photography. In the last five years Claudio Allia has begun to exhibit his works on the occasion of personal and collective photographic exhibitions both in Italy and abroad and since 2009 until 2012 he has chosen to carry out some of his personal photographic projects within the reality / surreality of the slum of Mathare (Nairobi) supporting humanitarian initiatives and projects aimed at improving living conditions and human rights within the slum.

Since 2022 Claudio is working on new music projects and started creating and editing images with the help of AI technology.
